Nice Looking Doors But Some Work Required
quality was poor for the premium price. I ordered natural wood doors primed only. The wood panel surfaces were rough and need sanding. the primer was barely sprayed on so I primed them again before 2 finish coats. I was surprised I had to sand a finished product. These were a semi custom design and the wait time was 8 months

Clopay, worth having that little extra.
So nice, originally thought we overdid it, since we moved back our 1st house, pretty modest, but the house we raised the kids in. It really brought out the stone around the entrance. The installer was awesome, and it is so airtight. We now have a climate controlled garage. I found a closed off vent once we redid the garage. I have to “wax” my garage door once a year! LOL

Clopay Model 10 unpainted purchased in a kit
I bought my Model 10 with glass panels in the 2nd row over 20 years ago. Only problem was I added a door pull at the bottom since it was a manual door. After 10 to 15 years the rain and afternoon sun damaged the wood around the door handle. I also had to add a low headroom kit which was easy to install. I would like to order a new bottom panel but the local dealer said it would cost as much as a new steel door.
