Clopay® Adds Natural and Espresso Stain Finishes to Canyon Ridge® Garage Doors

Clopay has added Natural and Espresso factory-finished stain colors to its popular Canyon Ridge faux wood garage door line. The new options will be available on the Canyon Ridge 5-Layer Carriage House and Chevron models only, in both Mahogany and Clear Cypress cladding and overlays.
Designed to provide the look of natural wood with less upkeep, Canyon Ridge garage doors are constructed from a low-maintenance, moisture-resistant composite that won’t rot, warp, or crack. The material is molded from actual wood pieces to replicate the texture and grain patterns of the species they emulate.
The insulated doors can be customized with windows in either a painted or stained finish. Other colors include Black, White, Charcoal, Bronze, Medium, Dark, Walnut, and Slate. They can also be primed for custom finishing.
“These new colors balance out our color offering at both ends of the spectrum to give homeowners more options to complement their exteriors. Espresso is a deep, rich brown with black undertones while Natural resembles a White Oak finish,” said Justin Evans, Clopay’s Vice President of Residential Marketing. “Our factory finish program eliminates the task of hiring a contractor to stain the door. Customers will have peace of mind knowing that their newly installed garage door has been finished according to Clopay’s warranty guidelines for maximum beauty and durability.”
Clopay also announced they are discontinuing Pecky Cypress as a cladding option effective May 19, 2025. Replacement sections will be offered for one year.
