FireGard™ Motor Operator
The FireGard™ FGH Motor Operator is engineered for fire doors and insulated fire doors that cycle up to 20 times per day. In the event of a fire, the operator activates when heat or flames melt its fusible link, initiating a controlled descent of the door.
The door closes at a safe speed not exceeding 9 inches per second, creating a crucial barrier to prevent the spread of smoke and fire throughout the building. To accommodate various door sizes, the operator is available in standard horsepowers of ⅓, ½, ¾, 1, 1 ½, 2, and 3 HP. For larger doors, special order models up to 7 ½ HP can be configured.
