FireGard™ Chain or Crank Manual Operator
The FireGard™ closing system is a manual operator that provides reliable, fusible link-activated fire protection. This system combines a geared reduction unit with either a hand chain or a removable hand crank and includes an electric, wall-mounted close control station.
In the event of a fire, the melting of a fusible link triggers the door to close automatically at a controlled speed not exceeding 12 inches per second. To reset the system after an activation, the fusible link must be manually replaced.
