Clopay Intellicore® is a proprietary polyurethane foam insulation that is injected inside the stiles and rails, expanding to fill the entire structure for greater strength, durability and energy efficiency.
Additional Features
- Replaceable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-resistant aluminum retainer helps keep out air and water.
- Integral section joint seal helps keep out air and water.
- Built-in reinforcing fin provides increased strength and longevity. Included on doors wider than 14’. Standard doors 12’ and under do not use a reinforcing fin. Usage on doors 12’2” to 14’ wide depends upon glass weight. WindCode® doors may vary.
- A patented Safe-T-Bracket® prevents serious injury that could occur if the bottom bracket were removed with the garage door closed and under tension
- All Intellicore® insulated doors come standard with 10-ball nylon rollers and heavy-duty 14-gauge steel hinges.
