AlarmGard® Tube Motor

The AlarmGard^® Tube Motor Operator offers a concealed operator solution, as it is integrated directly within the shaft assembly. This design is ideal for applications demanding minimal clearances or a clean, unobstructed aesthetic. Despite its compact profile, the motor is powerful enough for fire doors and fire-rated counter doors up to 120 sq. ft.

In response to an alarm signal or prolonged power loss, the AlarmGard logic initiates a controlled closure, creating a physical barrier to prevent the spread of smoke and flames. Once conditions return to normal, the operator automatically resets, eliminating the need for expensive and time-consuming manual procedures.

This UL 325-compliant and UL 864-listed motor assembly is rated for up to 10 cycles per day and features electronic limit settings adjustable from the floor for simplified installation and maintenance. For added functionality, it can be customized with an optional 8-hour battery backup and various control stations, including two-button or three-button configurations in flush or surface-mounted designs.
