Clopay^® Exhibiting at 2023 NAHB International Builders’ Show^®

Clopay^® Corporation will be exhibiting in booth #C1825 at the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas January 31 – February 2, 2023.

Billed as the residential construction industry's premiere event to scout new products and design trends, the show returns to Las Vegas following two years in Orlando, Fla. This is the first time it will combine with the National Hardware Show and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) under one roof, and strong attendance is expected.

Clopay will be showcasing garage doors and complementing entry doors in styles and colors that bring instant wow factor to every home. The company is expanding its Canyon Ridge^® faux wood garage door line, adding a handcrafted Chevron pattern in four different designs, as well as introducing a Modern Steel garage door featuring digitally printed horizontal planks that have an authentic woodgrain appearance. Both doors offer the look of wood with less upkeep in distinctive new styles.

Color-blocking is a popular exterior trend and Clopay will show an easy way to incorporate it with a Modern Fir fiberglass entry door in a Medium stain finish surrounded by full length sidelights trimmed in Mocha brown. An Ultra-Grain^® “stained” steel garage door with frosted glass windows and Mocha frames completes the look.

For those who enjoy mixing patterns and textures with a burst of color, custom examples abound in this year’s exhibit with a Canyon Ridge Louver door painted dark green, a Reserve^® Wood custom three panel door in a natural stain finish, and Clopay’s new Avante^® Sleek aluminum door in black with frosted glass.

The Sleek model features horizontal tempered glass or acrylic panels with minimal stiles for broad, unobstructed views and a clean, simple frame design.

This is a departure from the grid-like pattern of Clopay’s standard Avante so for builders and architects in search of a garage door that gives off “panoramic vibes” and lets in plenty of natural light, this is it.

Clopay is also sponsoring The New American Home^® 2023 (TNAH), which will be open for tours during the Builders’ Show. Located in the upscale Ascaya subdivision about 25 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center, the two-story home features a spa, game room, private office, state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen, a variety of outdoor fire features and a rooftop deck designed to capture uninterrupted views of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip.

Michael Gardner, principal at Luxus Design Build and lead architect of the home, selected Clopay Modern Steel doors in the Lustra matte black finish for the home’s two- car garage, which also will incorporate an indoor/outdoor gym. The 2023 TNAH will be the 40th edition of the renowned annual showcase home program.

Finally, Clopay is excited to announce a special guest appearance during the show. Four-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves will be signing autographs in the Clopay booth Tuesday, January 31 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Castroneves will be there to greet fans and take pictures as Clopay kicks off the second year as the official garage door sponsor of the Meyer Shank Racing IndyCar team.
