MSR

Clopay today announced it is partnering with 2021 Indianapolis 500 winners Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) for the 2022 NTT IndyCar Series.

Clopay will be featured on Meyer Shank Racing’s dual IndyCar lineup, which includes four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves (No. 06 AutoNation / SiriusXM Honda) and 2019 Indianapolis 500 winner and 2016 IndyCar Series Champion Simon Pagenaud (No. 60 AutoNation / SiriusXM Honda).

Clopay debuted on the Meyer Shank Racing IndyCars at the XPEL 375 at Texas Motor Speedway on March 20.

NBC television network will broadcast fourteen of the seventeen scheduled 2022 NTT IndyCar Series races, highlighted by the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 29, 2022.

“From a marketing perspective, there is an obvious relationship between garage doors and cars,” said Clopay Vice President of Marketing Justin Evans. “We have considered a motorsports sponsorship for a while, and were looking for the right opportunity. Clopay is thrilled to be associated with MSR, both on and off the track, and expect this partnership to significantly increase our brand awareness among loyal race fans.”

“Clopay is known for its innovative and uncompromising product performance, which we have experienced firsthand,” said Mike Shank. “The team’s new 42,000 square foot race facility in Pataskala, Ohio features Clopay garage doors throughout. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Clopay before and are excited to have them on board for the season.”

2019 & 2020 IMSA Champions, Meyer Shank Racing is in its third decade of racing. With wins in some of the biggest races in the sport, the Ohio-based team has raced to victory lane in the inaugural years of the Acura NSX GT3 on the way to securing the 2019 and 2020 IMSA GTD Championships. MSR are the 2021 Indianapolis 500 winners with Helio Castroneves making history and collecting his fourth Indy 500 victory.
