Faux Wood Composite
Faux wood composite cladding and overlay materials are molded from real wood pieces to reproduce the natural texture and grain patterns of the species they emulate. Choose from Clear Cypress or Mahogany in a variety of paint and stain colors to create your own style.
Design Customization
Eight door designs with optional windows or metal accent pieces. Available primed, painted or stained in 8 standard finishes. ColorBlast® custom paint colors also offered in 1,500 shades.
Insulation
2" Intellicore® polyurethane foam insulation with a thermal break. R-values range from 6.3 – 20.4 depending on the design.

When we undertook an extensive exterior house renovation, we knew finding the right large 7'x18' garage door replacement would be a critical wow factor for our home’s ‘curb appeal.’ So we took the time to do our research and talked to almost a dozen dealers. The local company that stood out was DoorCare; their manufacturer was Clopay; and the model we loved was the Canyon Ridge Modern. Admittedly, it was by far the most expensive choice, but worth every penny in our minds. There is not a garage door like it in our neighbourhood and it has added so much more value to our home than the cost. The only downside was the long wait due to CoVid. With the entire renovation completed, it was eight months after we ordered the garage door that it finally arrived. During that time, our neighbours often wondered out loud … “Sooooo you are replacing the old garage door too, right?!?” Fortunately, when was installed, there was a little shock and awe for sure. We love it!

"Modern Garage Door of Our Dreams!!!"
This garage door completed our home. We had recently completed a full exterior reno and our garage door was the final piece of the puzzle! Clopay was wonderful to work with and fully customized the door to fit our style and home. The faux wood is amazing quality, has the perfect wood tones and doesn’t warp even during our frigid winters. The door is also insulted so it helps keep our garage warm in the winter too! Overall this door has completely transformed our exterior and our neighbours have said nothing but positive comments as well. We’re beyond happy with the quality and would strongly recommend a Clopay garage door.

This is a message I sent to Clopay in 2019 and we were never contacted. We had our new garage installed in August 2018. We noticed in October 2018, tiny "bubbles" on the material of the door flaking off on some of the panels. So on October 23rd, 2018 we contacted and sent pictures to the company that installed our door - JMAC. We asked them to take a look at it and let us know of some solutions. After repeated phone calls, pictures and emails to JMAC, someone finally came out in April 2019 with a "repair kit". The kit was just a little tube of paint that we both agreed would make the bubbles even more noticeable as the paint didn't really match perfectly. This has been extremely frustrating. We just wanted the panels with the bubbles that are flaking to be replaced as it will continue to get worse over time and paid a significant amount for this door. We are feeling quite frustrated with JMAC and wondered how we can get Clopay to help us with next steps. We have the emails and pictures to support this message if need be.

With a mid-century one level home the garage door is a big part of the curb appeal so I decided to spend more for Canyon Ridge modern door. Now that it's installed I'm disappointed. I expected the door to have some dimension since the synthetic wood planks are thick, for example a V groove between planks, similar to real wood. Instead it is entirely flat door. It looks pretty good but not like real wood, a bit like a good vinyl overlay (flat and plastic). At this price I expected a GREAT wood like look up close. It's a nice door but I wouldn't buy it again.
