Clopay’s Intellicore is a proprietary polyurethane foam that is injected into a garage door, expanding to fill the entire structure. Clope doors specially Avanti doors nobody come close, we've tried different companies and after a certain amount of time they start malfunctioning, we never ever had problems with clopay design, they're built very well and all the other doors that we deal with we only use clopay for our material, and one of the best things about clopay when you deal with Mark in Sacramento he always takes care of you not just as a number customer but he takes care of you as a family, he goes over and beyond for the customers one of the reasons that we go back there is Mark and the crew in the office.

It’s beautiful and perfect for this space - it makes the entire barn shine! We couldn’t be happier.

I think many times the garage side of the house is an afterthought. However when designing our home, we wanted the garage area to have just as much of an impact as the other three sides. Finding garage doors that made an impact was incredibly important to us. One we saw Clopay’s Avante garage doors, we knew immediately that’s what we needed to make an impact. Clopay was wonderful to work with and put us in touch with a local distributor. Even during supply chain shortages we were given frequent updates. I love the contemporary look these doors add to our home. We chose to go with opaque glass which has been great… it adds a tremendous amount of light into the garage but protects things inside safe from any curious eyes. The best part of it all is when people come to our house and say “Oh wow… I just LOVE your garage doors!” It makes me smile every time I come home.

"Really nice door, but aluminum frame condensates"
Doors look and work really nice, but in the winter months in north east Ohio the frame condensates very bad. I wish there was an insulated frame option for the doors. I’m thinking about filling them with spray foam.

I knew I wanted to create a space that had good natural lighting, provided flexibility and offered unobstructed views of the outdoors. Clopay’s Avante series, overhead door, ticked all of those boxes and then some. My Anavte, overhead studio door was made to order and installed well ahead of schedule. It is beautifully constructed, well insulated and provides the flexibility I was hoping to integrate in my creative space. Whether open or closed, I feel like I am outside, but well protected from the weather. I couldn’t be happier with my Avante door and I look forward to making pots in my inside/out studio space.

When considering my ultimate man cave shop build, I knew I wanted to make a statement and the 14x14 black frame all glass door was the way to do it. The only problem was what door company to use? I did a lot of research and asked around. I kept hearing the name Colpay over and over again. After seeing them at a local upscale pizza place I was convinced. When people see the shop they say "that should be on Pintrest". The they say "I love the garage door"! Not only does the door look great, it is very energy efficient. It gets direct sun most of the day, and with the slight gray tint it stays nice and cool inside on those hot NC summer days. I would recommend Colpay to anyone. The dealer i used was very knowledgeable about the product and even when there was a mixup, the got it fixed very quickly!

"Warning: Spontaneous Glass Shattering Issue"
Own the Avante doors a a little over a year since install and one day we noticed 1 of the glass panels spontaneously shattered. Tempered glass is strong but when a spec of sand or foreign particle is baked into the glass during manufacturing, if the sand/particle expand due to weather, the glass shatters into a thousand pieces. We've only had this issue with 1 panel so far out of a total of 16 installed. Clopay warranty only covered replacement of the glass itself and not the full 2 panel double glass unit. They sent only a single panel glass to replace a double panel glass after 3 weeks. While attempting to install the warranty glass with a certified Clopay installer (these guys are really good installers), the warranty (frosted side) glass itself shattered in mid-air while trying to insert into the panel. The original clear side panel didn't shatter and now I have a temporary clear single panel placement in the middle of the frosted units. I'm having a stronger glass made and placed because the Clopay glass vendor quality has failed 2X now. Customer service is like pulling teeth, really hostile attitude and will speak with you as if their inept quality assurance on these expensive door is your fault. Home Depot washed their hands and refused to aid in this issue saying it falls beyond their 1 year warranty, I'm still paying for these doors on my Home Depot card. Coplay also limits support to just parts only (you're on your own to fix) after 1 year.

Choosing the Avante glass doors was a huge budget & design decision and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We loved being able to choose the frame material, glass style, and even input on how many glass panels/layout each door would end up with. The biggest question we get is how is the “insulation” value or are they hot/cold? We live in our barn and I have to say the doors perform better than expected! The quality of the doors is excellent and the design style is hard to beat. Thank you Clopay for such a great product that has turned out to be one of the greatest design features of our barn.

Excited for beautiful, updated garage doors! Spent an extreme amount for an enchanting product. Then, these amazing doors were made tacky by mismatched trim when installed!!! Called Clopay to find out exactly what trim is recommended to match the painted bronze Avanti doors to be sure that the service company switched to the right trim color. Just received a run around, but no definitive help from Clopay! The old boards matched and looked so much better than the new trim with the doors.

Here in North Idaho, with cold temps, Glass on panels accumulate much condensation. So much water is coming off the glass, and creating small patches of water on the inside of the garage. Looking for solution that helps eliminate this natural cause.

I read a few of the reviews and was really shocked at the pettiness and honestly the lack of professionalism from a so called professional contractor. I am not a pro contractor but am in a business that requires me to examine and make judgements on high end products for the last 34 years. To say that I was satisfied with not only the door but the installation would be a grave understatement. The door is constructed to the highest level of quality and craftsmanship. The look has transformed my home in a way that it now makes a grand statement from the curb appeal it has given it.
