Design Customization
Choose from flush or grooved panel designs, each with unique texture and paint options including solid paint colors, Lustra™ matte, Ultra-Grain®, or Ultra-Grain Plank wood-look finishes. Short, long and contemporary slim windows can be stacked vertically down one side, both sides, and placed in some or all sections.
Insulation
Insulation options include 2" or 1-3/8" Intellicore® polyurethane foam, and 2", 1-3/8" or 1-5/16" polystyrene. R-values range from 6.3 to 18.4.
Door Reinforcement
WindCode® door reinforcement product available for high wind load applications.
Environmental Assurance
Clopay doors are compliant with environmental laws and regulations. Clopay doors do not contain HFCs. All Clopay doors are compliant with:

Clopay’s Intellicore is a proprietary polyurethane foam that is injected into a garage door, expanding to fill the entire structure. - Rust-Prevention System: Steel skins are protected with a tough, multi-layer coating system, including hot-dipped galvanizing, a protective metal oxide pretreatment, then a baked-on primer and top coat.
- Replaceable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-resistant aluminum retainer helps keep out air and water.
- A patented Safe-T-Bracket® prevents serious injury that could occur if the bottom bracket were removed with the garage door closed and under tension
- All Intellicore® insulated doors come standard with 10-ball nylon rollers and heavy-duty 14-gauge steel hinges.
- Product complies with 2015 IECC air infiltration requirement of 0.40 cfm/ft2 or less (IECC, Section C402.5.2)

I use to installed garage doors for local company and these doors are better by far and cheaper. easy to install and works great. if I had to say anything bad about it is I don't care the the ez torsion system they use, bur that a preference to the old spring system. the ez torsion spring system still works good

"Clopay Modern Steel Plank Kona Ultra Grain doors"
Both our 16X7 and 9X7 Modern Steel Plank Kona Ultra Grain doors look great and appear to be very high quality products. The larger door came with a minor scratch on the surface, but I think I can repair it when I find some of your Kona touch-up paint. Didn't give a five star rating due to an order mix up on the doors windows. We are waiting on four clear windows from you so we can at least get our doors to look the same.

"Quality control needs improvement."
I think the garage doors are a solid product and I am very happy with them. Unfortunately, I also feel like their quality control process needs improvement. We ordered 2 doors and every panel had the right-hand side braces misaligned and I had to remove the anchor screw and re-align them. It was just by chance that the boxes we opened to install the first door had the correct parts. When we started on the 2nd door and I was checking parts, I noticed the radius rail was not the same size as the first. I had to call CS and request a replacement be sent. I was very specific that I only needed the 15" rail to replace the incorrect 12". Everything else we had was correct. We had to wait an additional 3 weeks for the replacement rail after all ready waiting 3 months for the doors. When we went to pick up the replacement rails, they had sent 15"radius rail riveted to the second top rail and the wall brace. This forced me to take down the top rail and brace that I had already installed. One additional issue was even with sending the radius and top rails riveted together the pre-drilled mounting holes at the end of the rails did not line up and I had to re-drill those to make them work. Again, I think they have a strong product and just need to follow through on quality control plus find a way to decrease their delivery time.

"Rust, Clopay Does Stand Behind Their Product"
We bought four Clopay Modern Steel garage doors. After a year and a half we developed a decent size rust spot. They claimed it was surface rust and not covered. We have surface rust, pitting, in other areas that we did not claim as warranty, but the area in question is positively more than surface rust. Clopay does not stand behind their product and are of little help in resolving.

I do like my modern flush panel with contemporary obscure glass windows garage door but have two objections. The garage doors is chocolate brown and the interior is white as is the trim that hold the glass in place. The white looks like a frame on the exterior and draws the eye to that rather than the door itself. The second objection is we added extra rails to the garage because of a high wind area we live in. These added rails sit enough above the windows that when the sunlight hits the rails it reflects and detracts from the garage door itself. I thi;nk Clopay needs to address these issues, otherwise its well-made and sound.

The doors arrived with dents on the outside of them so it was disappointing to see that they were slightly damaged new doors. Otherwise, color was spot on, glass tempered windows were right size and doors look very modern as we had hoped. Just wish quality of product was more durable. Hoping Clopay will assist with the damage.

After 6 months of use, the garage door works great. It's quiet, keeps the cold/ hot out of the garage, and the outdoor access panel is really convenient. Make sure you keep lubricating the parts. The connections to the existing house look flimsy and rails can shake when opening, so I wonder how they will perform long term. So far so good.

I was skeptical that changing garage doors would add so much value. Boy was I wrong. These are quality doors at a good price. I was surprised at the insulation they provided during the winter. Had a home built this year and had a Clopay modern series door model 4308 2 car garage door. This door is less then a year old and 8 out of 16 of the seals popped out and needed to be replaced. The seals do not keep water out. Water seeps behind the glass. I have attached a couple of photographs. Would not recommend.

I purchased Modern Steal panel door in black. I was anticipating a smooth finish, but received wood grain. The wood grain is so fake looking its waves horizontally across the door and with the shiny black color it looks like a 5 year old painted it. If you dont get sick of the waves then you have these random vertical lines that make it look like rain went down the door while it was getting painted. The rep said thats the standard stamping and its really sad. So frustrated about the whole purchase. The door name does not 1 bit represent the style. Please ensure you check the door style before purchasing or you will be disappointed like me.

We built a new garage this year, which my husband wanted huge garage doors. They are 10'x9' doors, which are borderline commercial sized doors. We needed larger sized doors, which not every garage door company makes them at an affordable price. They were installed by D&R Garage Doors Plus out of Youngstown, OH. I was surprised they came all the way to a town just north of Pittsburgh, but I'm so glad they did. Our new doors are awesome! The bonus is that we were even able to get the door colors to match really close to the color of the siding, which we wanted. Even better is having a warranty on top of everything else, we really couldn't be happier with them!

I would have never thought in million years that a garage door could drastically change the look of a house. the door that I got as an R Value of 18.4 which makes a difference on keep the heat out, you can actually work inside the garage without a sweat. thanks to Bert the owner of ADCO Garage in Miami for helping me choose the door style we got. from the first time I spoke to him I was treated very professionally and educated me on garage doors. he was involved in the process until the last screw was put on. THANKS ADCO for making my house look amazing ( SEE PICTURES)

They have a cheap rubber-like film attached to them. Installer and I both thought it was a removable protective film (!). I ordered my door through Home Depot. They did all the ordering details and handled the payment. A Home Depot contractor installed the door and it was plain that he really knew his business. The door was up and running in 2 1/2 hours.. I am very pleased with my new door.

Absolutely love my garage doors. Was so happy when I found out from building that I could pick a color to mat h my house instead of going with traditional white. The gray doors match perfectly with my trim. Would recommend. Door are insulated and high quality.

"Dissapointing faux grain. Beware!!!"
We set out to find a simple flat panel door with subdued texture. We thought we were getting a smooth door when we ordered the Mocha Brown, as there was no mention Clopay's "UltraGrain" with this color. Imagine my surprise upon returning home on the day of the installation to see a high-relief, glossy repetitive faux grain looks for all the world like zoomed-out Google Sketchup material.. think cheap wallpaper, and you’ll get the idea. The glossy finish makes the doors appear as though they’re made of plastic. We will be replacing these immediately with a different brand, as they are too embarrassing to leave on the house in the face of our home’s significant renovation.

I'm completely satisfied with my new Clopay Modern Steel door. I shopped Lowes and Home Depot. I went with Home Depot because they carried the Clopay doors. Lowes comparable door was a Pella. It was far more inferior to the Clopay. They wanted hundreds more dollars to skin the inside with steel. It was standard on the Clopay.

My garage doors are of very high quality. They operate smoothly and look great. However, this is because of the installation work done by Dennis Hornung of Newtown Garage Door Company (Pennsylvania). Dennis installed new tracks and all new hardware, sensors and operating controls in addition to the Clopay doors. I highly recommend Newtown Garage Door Company.

Overall happy with the door, top notch installers. Hats off to Haws overhead garage doors in Guelph Ontario Canada. My issue is with the colour matching of the weather stripping and the screws used to attach the weather stripping. Totally different colour than the garage door. Clopay didn't respond to my emails and when I called couldn't provide me with a solution, only to say that they should match.

The door we purchased Dec.12, 2016 from Home Depot Chesapeake, VA store - installed January 12, 2017 by Miller Overhead Door Co. 503 Centerville Turnpike Chesapeake, VA. We are very unhappy with the terrible sound when the door is raised or lowered. The sound pops and crackles.

The new doors have windows in the top section that have a diffused layer for privacy. The additional light in the a garage is wonderful. The Clopay doors are light and energy efficient. Coupled with a new opener and they are the quietest doors to operate that I've ever come across. The great choices in colors allowed us to find the perfect match for our houses exterior. I'm delighted with the doors, they are a perfect for our needs.

Before the installation of my new garage door I had heart surgery and I could no longer lift the door up. My new aluminum door is insulated keeps the garage a good temp In the winter and I can lift it with one finger although it now runs on a genie. The installer was nice and professional he hauled off my old door and only took a few hours. I'm painting the house siding to match the door.

I should confess I never liked the original door and this may have had some influence on the accident. I now have a garage door I am proud of. It looks much better than the original door and is much more sturdy. The original door was virtually destroyed in the accident. I am confident this level of destruction would not occur with the Clopay garage door. It is much stronger and better built!

we needed a 12 feet high by 18 feet wide garage door to accommodate our Motor home. The door has worked to specification over the last year. The door has held up very well, it still looks like it is new. It is relatively easy to raise without the electric garage door opener the torsion bar system makes for easy opening. We installed a LiftMaster 8500 Elite Series 8500 Jackshaft opener so opening the door is a breeze. Our only issue with the door relates to the rubber seal at the bottom of the door, the seal at each end flattened out and allowed a noticeable space under the door. I called the Clopay help line and the lady suggested stuffing plastic grocery bags in the open ends of the rubber seal. That took care of the problem, But, I think Clopay could find a rubber seal that maintains a round profile.

Nice looking door but very noisy operating system in cold weather. The isolation panels are the problem. My old overhead door was much better at that stand point.But other than that it's ok.
