- Clopay meets and exceeds EPA guidelines for manufacturing.
- We recycle scrap steel, cardboard and polystyrene.
- We continuously look for ways to reduce packaging and disposable material coming into our plants.
- In 2006 we upgraded our transport fleet to introduce 100 new trailers equipped with special track to help better secure product and reduce potential for damage and ultimately waste from product loss.
- Our fleet runs on low sulphur diesel fuel and are equipped with computers to monitor idle time, engine performance and driver performance to maximize fuel efficiency.
- Our loading and unloading procedures have been shortened to reduce carbon emissions associated with truck idling
