Try on a New Garage Door

by ClopayAdmin

You wouldn’t buy a new outfit without trying it on first—the same logic applies to purchasing a new garage door. Did you know you can upload a photo of your home and try on a door to see how it fits before you commit to a specific model?

It’s easy with Clopay’s web-based Door Imagination System. Go to www.clopaydoor.com and upload a digital photo of your home. Then follow the prompts to customize a garage door design with windows, hardware and paint.

Save your images into your own personal online folder to review later or share with your garage door installer, contractor, friends and family.

The Garage Door Imagination System even provides a specification summary for each door image saved including the product style and decorative options so you know you are ordering the correct product.

Low-E Insulated Glass Now Available on Clopay Coachman® Collection Carriage House Garage Doors

by ClopayAdmin

Clopay is now offering Low-E (Low Emissivity) insulated glass on our 2-5/8” thick Coachman Collection garage doors. Low-E glass has a special coating that reduces the amount of infrared radiation that passes through, to reduce the overall heat transfer through the glass and improve energy efficiency. Due to the special coating, the glass does have a slight greenish hue.

Even better news – these doors qualify for the Federal Energy Tax Credit if they are installed in an existing home by December 31, 2010.

Midwest Living 2006 Idea Home - Door County, Wisconsin

Designed as a luxurious, yet comfortable vacation home, the 1 1/2 story, 4,000-square-foot home is perched on a bluff, with magnificent views overlooking the waters of Green Bay in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. With its Shingle-style details, a cross-gabled roof and long front porch, the home’s design reflects both a “Cape Cod” spirit and a Scandinavian influence from the area’s early settlers.

Clopay Reserve Collection semi-custom carriage house garage doors complete the East Coast inspired design.
